Inventory Receiving

Every shipment that arrives at our facility is checked in against the seller's expected inventory before any preparation work begins. Our receiving process may include:

  • Quantity verification
  • Product identification
  • Visual inspection
  • Damage identification
  • Seller notification on arrival
  • Receiving photos where applicable
  • Inventory check-in to the client portal
  • Discrepancy reporting

If we identify damaged units, quantity discrepancies, missing components or products that cannot be prepared as instructed, we notify the seller and hold the affected inventory pending their instructions.

FBA Preparation

Our team performs the physical preparation required to make inventory ready for Amazon's fulfillment network, according to seller instructions and applicable FBA preparation and packaging requirements. Services include:

  • FNSKU labeling
  • Product labeling
  • Poly bagging
  • Suffocation warning labels
  • Protective packaging
  • Bubble wrapping where required
  • Sticker and label removal
  • Bundling
  • Multipacks
  • Kitting
  • Product assembly
  • Fragile and glass item preparation
  • Expiration date labeling
  • Carton preparation
  • Pallet preparation and shrink wrapping
  • Returns and removal-order processing
  • Short-term inventory storage

Kitting, Bundling & Assembly

We prepare products that require multiple components to be combined into a single sellable unit before shipment. Services may include:

  • Multi-item kits
  • Product bundles
  • Multipacks
  • Insert and literature placement
  • Component assembly
  • Repackaging
  • Box and mailer packing
  • Custom preparation per seller instructions

Kitting and assembly work is quoted separately from standard per-unit prep because the labor varies with the number of components and the complexity of the build. Contact us with your bill of materials and we will quote the work.

FBA Inbound Shipment Management

Many sellers ask us to handle the inbound shipment process on their behalf so that prepared inventory moves to Amazon without them having to coordinate each step. Where a seller asks us to do this, they grant us access to their Amazon Seller Central account for that purpose.

Scope of Seller Central access

When authorized by an Amazon seller, Uri Prep & Ship accesses Seller Central solely to perform fulfillment-related activities necessary to provide our FBA prep and inbound shipping service. Our authorized activities may include:

  • Reviewing existing SKU and inventory information
  • Creating and managing FBA inbound shipments
  • Entering box and shipment information
  • Generating required FNSKU and product labels
  • Generating carton and shipment labels
  • Coordinating transportation
  • Entering tracking information
  • Monitoring inventory shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers

What we do not do

Uri Prep & Ship does not create or manage product listings, set or change pricing, manage advertising campaigns, access or alter financial or banking information, manage customer messaging, or perform any other seller-account function unrelated to preparing and shipping inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers.

Access is limited to the personnel who need it to perform the service, and is removed when it is no longer required. See our Privacy & Data Security page for how we handle seller account access and information.

Storage & Outbound Shipping

Prepared inventory can be held at our facility between receiving and outbound shipment. Standard prep pricing includes 30 days of inventory storage; longer-term storage is available and quoted based on the space required.

Outbound, we ship prepared cartons and pallets to the Amazon fulfillment destination assigned to the seller's shipment. We can also prepare and ship inventory to a seller's own warehouse, to a merchant-fulfilled location, or direct to customers where a seller requires it.

Turnaround

Our workflow is designed to move properly prepared inventory from receiving through outbound shipment within 24–48 hours of check-in. Shipments requiring kitting, assembly or other specialized preparation may take longer, and we confirm the expected timeline with the seller when the work is quoted.
