How Uri Prep & Ship Works
From account setup to prepared inventory arriving at an Amazon fulfillment center, here is what working with us looks like.
-
Create your account
Create your Uri Prep & Ship account and provide your business and inventory information. Account creation takes a couple of minutes and there is no setup fee.
-
Add your products
Enter the products you are sending to our facility and provide the preparation instructions for each one — labeling, bagging, bundling, kitting or any special handling the product requires.
-
Send inventory to us
Your supplier, distributor, manufacturer or your own business ships the inventory to our prep center. We provide the receiving address and any reference details we need to match the shipment to your account.
-
We receive and inspect
Our team checks in your inventory, verifies quantities against what you told us to expect, and identifies visible damage or preparation issues. You are notified on arrival, with receiving photos where applicable.
-
We prep your products
Based on your instructions, we complete the required labeling, packaging, bagging, bundling, kitting, assembly or other preparation, following applicable FBA preparation and packaging requirements.
-
We prepare your FBA shipment
When you have authorized us to do so, our team creates or manages your FBA inbound shipment in Seller Central, enters the box and shipment information, and generates the carton and shipment labels Amazon requires. If you prefer to create shipments yourself, we work from the shipment plan you provide instead.
-
Inventory ships to Amazon
Prepared cartons or pallets are shipped to the designated Amazon fulfillment destination. Tracking information is entered and maintained so you can follow the shipment through to receipt.
What we need from you
To keep inventory moving without back-and-forth, the most useful things to have on file before a shipment arrives are:
- Expected products and quantities
- Prep instructions per SKU
- FNSKU labels or authorization to generate them
- Inbound carrier and expected arrival date
- Any fragile or special handling notes
- Your preferred contact method for issues
If anything is missing or a product cannot be prepared as instructed, we contact you before proceeding rather than guessing.
